I fairly recently moved from BT to EE. There have been issues with my digital handsets ever since and it just seems to be getting worse. They will randomly drop out and become unusable whilst they synchronise again and again.
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

@Neil8568 Did new batteries sort it out before for you? To cancel that would be a call to EE CS to have the landline removed from your contract!

It didn't solve it completely. I have just ordered some further new batteries to rule them out as the issue

I had the same problem, but with Tapo security cameras, they kept disconnecting and had to keep reconnecting them.
what sorted it was in the hub enabling the compatible mode
so whereas before it just showed the wifi name when looking for wifi, it now has a extra one, wifi name plus comp added the the name, since then, the cameras have been fine
I think it is because of how the hub wifi is setup, as one connection, by enabling compatible mode, it allows the older devices or devices not compatible with 5Ghz to connect to 2.4Ghz
maybe worth trying

@chris16228 It is not that, the wireless wifi securities are different in the level, nothing to do with the 2.4/5Ghz bands!
