I have just taken out a EE Broadband package with a Digital Home Phone service, however I do not want to use the Smart Hub Plus. I have a third party Router/Firewall which directly connects (via PPPoE) to the Openreach Fiber to Ethernet box.
The supplied 'Home Phone Adapter' will not connect to my WIFI. It appears the only method of doing this is with WPS with a default pin of '0000' however my wifi access point does not allow this.
What are my options to get the Digital Home Phone working?

@EEUser20251 you must have the EE smart Hub as the first device connected to the ONT for Digital Voice to work. There is no other option.

Thanks for the quick reply @Mustrum
I was hoping it was a VoIP system.

@EEUser20251 it is a VOIP system, but BT/EE do not provide a method to connect other than via an EE or BT router.
It is on a 30 day rolling contract though, so you could transfer the number to a VOIP supplier of your choice.

Only by using the EE supplied SH+ as the 1st router on the downstream. DV does not operate with non-EE/BT routers.
