@Blox1 it really depends on the connector you have to your router.
Normally you need something to convert the RJ11 DSL cable to the phone socket - the ADSL filter cable does this for you.
Do you have another way to plug your FSL cable into your phone socket?

@Mustrum : The Phone socket on the router takes a standard BT phone plug. It doesn't need a DSL splitter & if you use 1 it'll just be passthrough. You're not plugging a DSL cable into the phone socket; you're plugging a phone.

@Mustrum : I thought the OP was asking about the Digital Landline. Yes, if the OP has a DSL BB connection the DSL splitter will still be needed at the master BT phone socket to receive the DSL cable from the router.
