upgrades not showing on three lines upgraded Saturday, contract ended yesterday

Hi All,

Is it usual that it might take days for an upgrade or any form of confirmation communication? we upgraded three lines to the same sim only tariff. All I have for one phone line is a screen capture I took of the sim only upgrade order number, the other two lines received an email to say for some reason they were sending sims (yet same phones as line 1 which did not offer a new sim). None of the lines have changed to the new sim only monthly tariff as we might have expected.

The upgrade was performed online on Saturday, when should we expect to hear anything?

Re the new sims they've chosen to send for lines 2&3, I assume when the switchover to the new tariff does hopefully happen, the existing nano sim in the iPhones will still work? The new tariff isn't tied to the IMEI of the new sim they send is it?

Many thanks for any guidance!

@FlyingBuffalo , contracts do not just end, and as you have upgraded, it should be ok, but if you are worried, you can ring customer service and speak to them, we have no account access and so cannot look at accounts.

Normally you do not need new SIM cards, as the original ones will work, EE sometimes send new ones out, but if they are all working ok, then no need to change them, just continue with what you have already.

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using Skype or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.

If you're being sent new SIMs, there's a possibility that you've inadvertently ordered new connections.

A change from phone-plan to SIM-only plan is just a change of priceplan, which can be done remotely on existing SIM.
