I have the same problem! My contract ended 31 July, I rang EE and cancelled the contract and took out a £20 per month SIM only deal and am now paying for both! cannot get any joy from EE so have cancelled the direct debit which Im sure will get some attention to my problem now. Desperate measures!

Hi @TMS123
I am concerned to hear you are still being charged, did you upgrade to sim only contract with EE?
Or when you called in, was that to cancel the contract with 30 days notice or did you request a Pac code?
Thanks

Cancelling regular payments tends to invoke the credit management process of major telcos, and the only lasting effect can often be on your credit file - impacting future credit applications.
Not many major companies will call you to ask if there's a problem.

Is the SIM Only deal on PAYG? If so, you could have asked for the contract to be moved to PAYG at the end of the 30-day contract notice period & kept the same no.
