"Brought Forward" Bill Charges.

I recently contacted yourselves via a telephone conversation about my previous bill, and was told that with my £40 payment on January 6th, that i would have the remaining balance removed, upon checking my bill for Feb 6th, i can see there is a balance of £37 being brought forward.
