I am am on the annual upgrade plan for my iPhone 13 and my contract start date was the 24th September (release date of the iPhone 13).
I wish to upgrade the the iPhone 14 (whole point of being on the annual upgrade plan) and when I logged on earlier it said I have to pay £100.
Now I get the system is right but will EE really make me pay £100 to upgrade?

I’m due upgrade 23/09/22, last year launch day. Hoping EE wave my £100 fee

It’s still a 24 month contract that your agreeing too and if that means that a fee needs to be paid than you need to pay it. Alternatively see out that contract and pay even more. Annual upgrade doesn’t mean free new device each year.

Yer I get that, it’s a week so no big deal.

@Chris_B yet again you totally miss the point. You don’t actually solve any problems you just answer with a black or white reply. If I wanted to know the T&C’s of my contract I’d go and read it.
I understand what the contract states, but what I am saying is surely there is some flexibility. In your eyes it is what it is and that’s fine, but don’t come on here telling what I already know. And if you do feel inclined to respond to get your post count up at least read the post first!

Hi,
Last year most upgraded before their contract year ended and EE waived the £100 upgrade fee , the possibility is they may do the same this time also .

I spoke to an agent on livechat today and he told me i would be able to do the annual upgrade as usual because i reordered it last year

Preordered** my apologies.

Last year I'm pretty sure my anytime upgrade fee should have been £300 but it was waived
Whilst not official policy it does seem to happen a lot. You're best ringing up though as soon as pre orders open

The other thing to bear in mind on this topic is that EE delivered a lot of last years pre orders late. That was EE's fault but to penalise customers by charging an anytime upgrade fee because of something that was EE's fault wouldn't really be on
