I am am on the annual upgrade plan for my iPhone 13 and my contract start date was the 24th September (release date of the iPhone 13).
I wish to upgrade the the iPhone 14 (whole point of being on the annual upgrade plan) and when I logged on earlier it said I have to pay £100.
Now I get the system is right but will EE really make me pay £100 to upgrade?

What model and size did you go for? i am shocked by the upfront costs on the 14 pro max upfront costs compared to other networks

I went for the silver 256gb pro max. No upfront cost, but a high monthly price. But no more than I’m paying already. I Want the premium phones so I pay the premium haha

Hi all,
I just want to share my experience. I pre-ordered the iPhone 13 Pro Max when it went live for pre-order last year with a launch day shipment but like many, mine got delayed and as a result, my upgrade date was showing 4th Oct with an upgrade fee of £100 - this is the upgrade anytime plan.
On Live Chat there was no movement as to waiving the fee even despite the above - I called 150 and they couldn't be more helpful. Got my upgrade, on a similar plan to what I'm on now (albeit a little extra more a month) with no other upfront charges, except for £6.95 shipping.
Super happy with the service!

I dont mind paying the monthly price, i despise being asked to pay a much larger upfront fee for a phone i can get from competitors for less upfront and a comparable monthly payment with the same benefits and on a 24 months contract

Lucky you I was told it would be a new line and cost me over £1000 to upgrade

I'm having no luck with this whatsoever. I am in the same position as you, with launch day shipment and getting delayed. Trying to deal with CS right now. Will keep you all updated!
Not our fault our phones were delayed!

Can confirm that some call centres are passing you off and refusing. Called a centre in Portsmouth who were no help. Kept getting put on hold for them to speak to a team and they refused. Rang back to complain and got put through to a different team who were perplexed by the first call as they found no reason as to why the £100 was showing online or as to why the other team couldn't help as it wasn't showing their end.
Live chat were no help and also refused to waive, however, no waive was needed according to the team via 150. Seems like a lot of miscoms going on, the same as last year.
All in all, upgrade all confirmed, same with me with the £6.98 delivery fee!
