So my paired watch 24 month plan ended in July 2024 and now I'd like to upgrade it. However, when I try to do this online, it's telling me I have to pay £100 upgrade fee and return my old watch, which is ridiculous when it's over a year out of contract! I don't want to call into a call centre, which is why I prefer to do everything online, as it's such a nightmare trying to get through to someone half decent. Can you point me in the right direction as to why this is trying to charge me?

Hi @Spicyprawns.
Thanks for coming to the community.
If your existing plan is out of contract, I know you'll be keen to find the best upgrade options available to you.
I'd recommend speaking with one of our Guides who can check your account details and confirm your contract status. You can chat with our team by logging into your EE app, tapping on Help at the bottom of the screen, and then selecting Message Us.
