Sim only. Business customer. Trying to cancel. BertEE won't give that option. No one answers customer service. Been waiting 30 minutes. Doesnt tell you your queue position! Cancelled direct debit now. I'm sure someone will contact me that way. Terrible customer service!

Hi @Philippeluke69

Cancelling your direct debit could impact your credit if your payment bounces.

Best holding to speak to someone.

Thanks

I've tried too many times. I'm not paying for something I no longer use. I've tried each month for the past three months. Each time I'm in an endless queue with no idea when I'll be spoken too.

@Philippeluke69 , if you press option 2 and then billing you should get through to someone, if you did not do that,, that is the way to go, but not a good idea to cancel your direct debit, as could cause problems and EE will probably not ring you.

As a general rule, don't expect large companies to call you to ask why you've cancelled your DD - they tend to have credit management processes in-place for such things, and EE is no exception.

In no particular order, expect late payment fees followed by call restrictions and service suspension - all the while your contract remains live.

You can give your cancellation notice by post if necessary, but two wrongs don't make a right here.

Yeah, I hear you all. Not a good idea to cancel the DD. I've got a month before the next one is due, so I may have to hang on the phone for that long until I get through to someone.
