Hi I received the attached text message supposedly from Ee, just wondering if it’s a scam as I’m pretty sure my bill isn’t due to be processed yet. Thanks

It's a scam! There are many of these going the rounds. EE would never send you a msg asking you to click on a link, which is not even EE's, in order to access your a/c.

Report spam texts to your network provider by forwarding the text to 7726 (S.P.A.M. on your keypad).

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

Hi I made the mistake of clicking the link and providing information for the first page (name, dob, number) extremely naive I know, but I didnt provide any further information when I realised it was a scam. I reported to 7726 but am worried if this could lead to any issues because I submitted one page of the form. Thank you.

Hi @meloz

You've done the right thing by reporting this to us for investigation.
We have a help page on Online Security: Avoid and Prevent Scams that you may find useful. You've supplied limited information from the sounds of it, and I'm pleased to hear no passwords or banking information was entered.

Bear in mind that your DOB is often part of security checks for banks & other financial institutions.
