Standing order - no reference

Zoedav

I recently set up a standing order, the payment went through but failed to come out of my account.

When I was checking to see i had the right details I realised I hadn't put my account number as a reference.

Will this money be transferred back when they're unable to link it to an account?

Hi @Zoedav

Welcome to the Community

Any payments without a reference number will stay in our holding account until it's manually allocated.

Please call Customer Service where a guide can locate the payment and have it attached to your EE account straight away.

For details of what you need to pay by bank transfer in the future, and other ways to pay, have a look at our Ways To Pay | EE page
