Stac code didn’t work

I keep getting letters about my account being suspended but I contacted EE for a STAC code nearly 3 months ago and twice had to call back cos it didn’t work so I just cancelled my direct debit and now they’re chasing me for money what’s the best thing to do?

I managed to get through last night but was then told he couldn't cancel it because it's now been passed on to Collections team who only work 8-6pm. 

Now have to go through the whole hold process again. Will collections be able to then transfer me to disconnections team?

You'll need to clear the outstanding payments first, then give your disconnection notice.

So if I make the outstanding payment via internet banking then ring disconnections will that avoid having to go through collections first or do I actually need to speak to collections?

I'd recommend speaking to our payment support (Collections) team first @jaydenbell as they can take any bars off your account that may restrict our disconnections team.
