Sim only upgrade

I currently pay £28.68 for a 25g sim only 12 month contract and have been out of contract for well over a year. I've checked my offers in the app but when I do a Google search there are better offers. I've also seen offers for customers with EE broadband. Does anyone know if those offers are available to customers with BT broadband without changing to EE? Is it best to call 150 to get the best deal?

@Profile closed  You need to switch to EE BB to get EE deals.  BT is a separate company.    You’ll only get 10Gb of data because of being with BT and having a EE contract.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

All the adds seem to indicate they are part of the same company so I don't think that's fair especially as I'm unable to change to EE due to an issue with the telegraph pole outside that Openreach are in no hurry to rectify.

Thanks for your reply.

They are separate subsidiaries of the BT group, each having its own products, systems, prices & processes. They are considered by OFCOM as separate ISPs.

You will be served by the same telephone pole whether you are with BT or EE

My understanding was EE would be full fibre which BT were unable to fit. They cut my current broadband off and went to connect my full fibre to the pole and found it had a marker on that  said it was dangerous and couldn't we added to so had to reconnect the old broadband.

@Profile closed : BT can provide the same Full Fibre as EE but only up to 900 Meg, but if there are issues with Full Fibre from that pole then neither can fit it until it is fixed.

Do you know how long it takes to fix a pole? I've been waiting 7 months and heard nothing from Openreach or BT about it.

No, how would I? It's longer than a piece of string.
