Did you mean:

Scammed by fake caller and EE closed my account??

Hoping someone can help!!

TLDR: I was scammed by someone pretending to be from EE. I called EE right after so they are aware. Now my account has been closed and I can’t phone EE to sort it out as I don’t have a network.

How am I meant to contact EE to fix this when I can’t call them as they’ve removed my network?
Also, could it be a data breach as the scam called knew I was a customer for EE?

The scam was pretty good, they were able to email me from the EE email and send me texts from the number. When I rang back customer service to check, they said it had been a scam! All so weird.

Try calling CS on +44 800 956 6000 (option 2 > option 4) . That won't ask for an EE mobile no.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

It’s not a data breach as you can input a number on a few websites to find out what network that number is on.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Hi, the issue is I now don’t have a phone provider, therefore I can’t make any calls at all. I’ve tried to call the number above

Try calling CS on that no. on Skype over WiFi. It should be free.
