Roaming abroad pass but still being charged

I have the EE roaming abroad pass as an inclusive extra

when I go to check roaming countries it says I’ll be charged £2.47 but says I have a smart plan and can chose to add a pass when I do this it says my I already have the pass

Confused as to why I’m then having to pay EU roaming charged when I have this pass

Hi @R_m_l1

Everyone gets the roam in EU add-on but the roaming pass will override this so you won't get charged as long as you're in a valid country.

Anyway the £2.47 only comes into play when you are in the EU.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

The confusion was the the 150 service was telling me that I would be charged £2.47 per day but then would tell me I have the roaming pass as an add on

thankfully looks to be sorted landed in the country and has told me I can use my data etc for free

not sure why the service was saying one thing then something different
