Why do you have to be 6 months into a sim only contract to upgrade? Why can’t you do it anytime

If you moved to SIM-only from a handset-plan, you can move back to a handset plan anytime

It's only new SIM-only customers who are bound by the 6month rule.

So it’s cheaper for me to go with another network in that case. EE have missed out on a 1k contract because of ridiculous rules.
