Re: Why are they so expensive?

Its getting ridiculous now , I got rid of ee broadband for youfibre , which is cheaper and alot faster . I'm paying £41 / month to ee for mobile sim only  , which is crazy  , but it ends in September  , so I'm leaving ee  , even though I've been with them  back when when it was t mobile , about 20 years . So not much loyalty to keep existing customers from them.

If the plan that you're on is an EE One plan, this would have previously had a £20 discount applied for being an EE Broadband customer. This discount is removed when you cease your EE Broadband package.

Otherwise as pointed out by @bristolian, there is a range of much cheaper SIM Only options that will be available for you to upgrade to when within the last 30 days of your minimum term.

A SIM-only at £41/month would suggest a premium plan with inclusive add-ons. Much cheaper ones are available if you don't need these.
