My £11.79 price is going up by £2.25 a month. A 20% increase.

20 PERCENT!

I've been a loyal customer for years. EE obviously does not need me anymore.

I won't derail this thread regarding price rises that you've added to, with responding to this query. You could very likely get an answer if you start a new post in the roaming section of the board...

I was paying £8.50 which then went up to £12 a few months ago - definitely not as long as a year ago - and now today im being told another £2.50 increase - nah  NO CHANCE - i will be moving to giffgaff or one of those other ones that give the same unlimited calls and texts for a tenner.   you have just lost another customer EE.

@Princess2112  sounds like you had a promotional offer for a limited time and then it reverted to the true cost of the tariff after that limited time.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

GiffGaff is an MVNO operator on the O2 network.Be sure of testing their network & service in all the areas you frequent, to ensure it works for you - coverage maps only ever tell part of the story.

MVNO providers tend to compete on price alone, but then have limitations elsewhere, which naturally they won't highlight. Some are better than others, so just be sure before you find yourself caught out.

Our bill (3x mobile sims) increased from £10 per sim to £31 per sim and EE had the audacity to charge £10 admin fee per sim to change the contract which I never asked them to do!  Guess I’m moving provider tomorrow! Clearly don’t appreciate their customers. We also have broadband and ee tv.

We used to be so much better before merging with BT. I’m off to Tesco or three for our mobiles. We just increased wash of our 3 sims from £10/month to £31/ month and barged £30 admin fee to change the contract! Which we never asked them to do.

Wouldn’t go with Tesco, O2 is pretty dreadful at the moment. 1pmobile will give you EE coverage at cheaper rates and no increases.

Was your plan changed, or had you received a message around linking your account to maintain your discount?

Often with these EE One plans they are a £30+pm plan with a £20 discount deployed at PoS. This discount should stay on as long as the customer has Broadband + Mobile, but they must be linked to the same EE ID or else the discount can be removed after a time.

Yes it was the EE one plan i was on. £30/M discounted by £20 so was only paying £10 / sim / month (+Apple Music). Im still a EE Broadband and EE TV customer. I got a text before christmas to say the price per sim was increasing to £31 / sim / month. I queried it with EE and the person i was chatting to said that my plan wasnt changing, and would remain as it was and not to worry and that there wouldnt be an increase. And low and behold theyve gone ahead and increased and charged and extra £30 'admin' fee - ive agreed to none of this, no contract was signed to say i approved to move to a higher cost..

Do make sure you've tested O2 & 3 service in all the areas you frequent, before making a change that is potentially price-driven. Service does vary significantly, and coverage maps only predict half the story.

Matt's made a good point as well, there's far more to your price rise than just the contractual one. Contracts need not be signed to be valid, but they do need to be consensual.
