Re: How do I switch to paperless billing

Is there no way to switch to paperless bill online? My letter from EE says I can.

After spending nearly an hour contacting the EE team to switch to paperless billing in October I was assured that would happen. Needless to say, six months later, I'm still receiving, and being charged for, itemised bills.

I wonder if I can complain to  OFCOM as clearly EE are reluctant to switch people as they make so much money from unnecessary itemised bills.

Hello @psychlist

I am so sorry to hear this has happened.

I have sent you a private message to gather more details to hopefully get this resolved for you.

Speak soon,

Katie

Wow, I've spent 20 minutes trying to find an option to change to paperless billing in My EE and the same amount of time reading all these posts. I'm amazed that EE still haven't made it possible to do this online after all these complaints. I'll give them a call tomorrow and see if I can get this sorted.

I’ve just clicked the link above and spoken to an Agent - fingers crossed it’s now sorted and I won’t get any further paper bills

Hi Katie

I am still receiving and paying for itemised bills even though I spoke to an adviser last year and was told they would stop.

Can you get these stopped for me and repay the fees I've been wrongly charged? I don't want to spend ages on the phone sorting this out and as I messaged an adviser about this last time and nothing happened I'm not sure what I can do next, apart from take this further with a consumer organisation.

HI there @psychlist

I am sorry to hear this, we have no account access on the community to remove the itemised billing and refund any incorrect charges.

Please get in touch with our mobile care team, they will be happy to get this sorted for you.

Leanne.
