The whole credit check process with EE appears flawed. My wife attempted to join EE yesterday evening, as I have been a customer with EE since the T-Mobile days. She attempted to get a Plan on favourable terms, only to be told by the CS that her credit score was too poor for that plan. However, she could take a plan on less favourable terms. This check was confirmed by the CS to be completed via Equifax. She then went and got a credit check from Equifax done and to her surprise scored 1000/1000. In essence a perfect credit score. It is possible the CS made a mistake. However I have some suspicions re this whole process, as there are some significant trails in other areas of the chat from other customers presented with the same issue. I am sadly going to have to leave EE.

Hi @Ekh1
You can find details in our How does EE use my credit file information? article, on ways to query the decision and credit file.
Thanks.
Leanne.

Hi @Ekh1
Nobody has a perfect credit score. Those "scores" are nothing more than gimmicks to make you apply for services via that agency.
Each company has its own risk acceptance criteria based upon variouse factors.
Thanks
