Process of leaving as additional member

Hello.

What would be the process for me to leave a contract as an additional member of a family? I’m not wanting to move my whole contract to my name, I think I’ve actually paid off my phone (I’m due an upgrade). I was wondering what I would have to do in order to confirm I am able to use the PAC code to take the number either to an EE sim only deal in my name, or leave EE entirely?

My mum wouldn’t have a problem with me leaving as an additional member but she herself doesn’t understand how it works and said if I leave the contract she might be charged hundreds if the phone isn’t actually paid off before hand or if the contract isn’t ended in the right way?

Thank you. Sorry if I’m making this sound more complicated than it actually is, I’m sure I am lol.

@txmmybryxnt  the account holder has to call customer support to request a PAC for you to move your number to a different network.   You can’t use a pac to move your number within EE.

If you want to keep your number within EE you need to ask the account holder to call customer support to request your line be moved over to you on your own account in your name  ( it’s called a change of ownership) . It would be best if you were present at the same time as you have to accept this and you’ll be credit checked.   If you want to upgrade it would be best to upgrade first as you’ll not be able to upgrade for around 3 months once then line is in your name.  EE wants to know you are going to continue paying first before they allow you to upgrade.

to have this in your own name you are moving the whole contract to your name.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
