Paying for tablet & Wi-Fi mini.

Hi.

I took out a SIM only contract after my contract ran out to save money a while back.
I was given a free tablet and Wi-Fi mini which at the time I said I didn’t want whilst in shop. I was told it was free. I’ve just seen that I have been laying 12.78 a month for both these things which are still in boxes!
how can I cancel these! I didn’t want them in the first place, and will I get a refund as it was  not explained to me that there would be a monthly change !
thanks.

@GM53  They was free as in there was no upfront cost for these but they have a contract tied to them to have a data allowance and that’s what the billing is for.   You would have even agreed to the contract that came with them. Your only option is to go back to the store and ask to speak to the manager and explain you wasn’t told that they was on contract and you was only told they was free.   You have been miss sold these as they should have explained they are on contract.
