Good morning,
I have decided to close my contract with EE (The end date is 1/11/22)
If I request a PAC Number will that be sufficient to end the contract and fully close my account with EE please? I've never done this before so I'm not sure how it works. I read somewhere that accounts can be closed within 45 days of the end of contract date, but not sure if that applies to people who wish to leave EE or just for upgrades.

@Mother25 Its 30 days not 45, 45 is for upgrades.
Once you give that PAC code to the other network and they process that number migration it will then close your EE account. Do not stop your payment method with EE straight the way give it a month at least as you could be owed a refund or you might have a change for something else.
