New Sim

Hi

My current contract has expired and I was about to change my Plan to a 12month pay monthly.  But before I do, will this plan just move onto my current sim or will I need to wait for the new sim to arrive as I'm currently out of the country and don't want to lose service till I get home

Yes & you will keep your no. as long as you do an upgrade to your current contract & not just order a new contract.

Changing from one pay-monthly plan to another is just that, a change of payment plan on your existing SIM.

If one payment plan is device-based and another is SIM-only, it makes no difference. A change of payment plan doesn't mean you need a new SIM.

@Cam2022   just a point out. If you upgrade now you will have to purchase a roaming add on to use your device with in the EU. That’s if you’re in the EU.  Your current tariff gives you the ability to use your allowance whilst within the EU any new tariff needs an add on to use your allowance in the EU.
