Moving to Aus

Hi,

My current contract with EE has come to an end. I have an iphone XR, and would ideally like to upgrade to a new phone (iphone 12 or 13, etc). However, I do not want to start a new contract as I am moving out to Australia in Feb, and so I will have to buy an Aus sim card. Just wanting some advice on what I should do, as I don't want to be paying for a UK contract when I am out in Aus.

Just contact EE giving 30 days notice of cancellation of your mobile contract. If you are still within your min term you will be liable to pay early termination fees for the rest of the term. It will basically be months left x monthly charge - 4%.
