Hi,
I'm hoping someone can clarify something for me, as I've tried both in-store and the EE Business sales team but haven't been able to get a definite answer.
I currently have a personal EE SIM-only account and I'm a non-VAT-registered sole trader. I'd like to take out a separate EE Business plan/device for business use only.
Ideally, I'd like:
- My personal EE account paid from my personal bank account
- My business EE account paid from my separate business bank account
- Separate billing for each, for straightforward accounting/Self Assessment purposes
The store initially suggested moving my personal number onto a business account, but I would prefer to keep the personal and business arrangements completely separate.
They then suggested opening a separate business account using my business details, but weren't sure whether EE's systems would flag it because I'm already an existing personal customer.
Does anyone know the correct way to set this up, or whether EE allows a sole trader to have separate personal and business accounts with separate billing/payment methods?
Thanks!

Hello @__3 ,
Have you actually spoken to EE customer service? I am sure they can let you have both accounts separate, but why not have different email addresses, one for personal and one for business account, if they will not allow separate accounts? I am sure though that they will allow different accounts with separate billing/payments metchods.

You just open a separate business a/c with a diff email addy from your personal 1. Your business details will be diff from your personal details.
