Hi, I’m aware that while I’m still in contract and I choose to leave that I’ll have to pay the remainder of the term…does this apply if I want to keep the phone?
I’m going travelling soon and really don’t want to waste my travel money on a phone or contract that (due to excessive charges) I won’t be using.
was hoping that as the phone contract was upgraded in July 2024 (iPhone 15 max pro) that I could hand the phone back - does anyone know if this is possible?
was thinking that I could keep the plan as that only has a few months left and could change to a sim only deal and pop my sim back into my old iPhone IF ee will take the phone back….?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

After 6 months the phone is yours to keep anyway.
Cost of cancelling or upgrading early will be Monthly Fee x Months Remaining, pro-rata to the nearest whole day, of contract term - 4%. You can text INFO to 85075 to find out the exact figure as of now.

@Han1709 To pay of the contract will mean to pay of the handset also. EE will not take back the device just because you longer want to pay for it.
