Leavers discount removed

Just upgraded my plan but my leavers discount was removed. I was under the impression it would always be there? 

Do I have to keep the same contract to keep the discount?

@Profile closed Ah so you are reverting to the old plan under the 14 day cooling off period you mean? The discount should then be re-added once the plan is changed back to as it was before upgrading. You will then be able to upgrade again, as long as its an eligible plan the discount should carry across.

@Profile closed  if you were offered a discount to remain with EE on your last contract that doesn’t mean it’s remain on any future upgrades.   It was only applicable to the previous contract.   

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Welcome to the EE Community

The discount may have dropped off if you have signed up to an already discounted deal incompatible with having the leavers discount, does the discount show in your order confirmation e-mail?

Were you alerted via text it had been removed? Have you double checked your list of mobile add-ons in your online account to see if it may be active on the new plan still? Sometimes the text may be triggered by being removed from your old plan but then is added again to the new plan.

If it is not showing and you believe it has been removed in error the best thing to do is call us on 150 and a guide can raise a follow up for you to our internal accounts team to investigate and re-apply the discount if eligible.

Yes I received a message that it had been removed so I contacted and asked for my previous contract to go back. 

The guide wasn't even aware of the discount
