Hi,

Just got monthly bill for fibre with PAYG landline, wife called USA landline yesterday for first time on new(ish) contract and a call lasting 21m52s is charged at £19.54 but bill has no other breakdown, this seems too high as looking at the EE BROADBAND, TV AND HOME PHONE CHARGES - Prices Effective 1st May 2025 - shows calling USA landline from UK landline on PAYG is 33p connection and 41p / min which I calculate as £9.35 now £19.54

Am I missing something or do I need to query with ee?

Thanks

@insert_name : Yes, you are! You are looking at the legacy BB Price Guide when you're on New EE BB. You should be looking at Essentials, All Rounder and Full Works plans - 31 July 2025

Therein calls to USA (Band A) on Pay per Call are charged @ 88.8 p / min.

22 mins @ 88.8p / min = £19.54. Spot on!

An aside! EE ain't 'arf charging for phone calls for New EE BB landlines. Twice as much as legacy BB!

Thanks @XRaySpeX  - wow that's somewhat outrageous price increases and EE/BT may have my £19 but they won't get any furher calls on the landline for the remaining 18months on contract, that's just too expensive.

Time to look for some other call options to the US !

From an EE mobile with the £2.16 pm  International Pass add-on it's only 3p / min to USA.

Thanks! You're welcome 🙂 ! Glad I could be of assistance & trust it is now sorted.
