So last Month, I was called by an EE rep, giving me the speech of
"You've been with us for so long we now regard you are a Premium/Platinum customer"
You know that speech that gives you warm fuzzy feeling inside,
So he started to rattle off what he had to offer,
"I can save you money by £10" - sweet, I'll have that - "okay I'll apply that to your bill"
"Would you like a Samsung watch?" I've already got one. (Paid off)
"Would you like a Samsung TV?" I've already got one. (Personal purchase)
"Would you like a laptop?" Actually I could do with a new one.
So let's do some math now,
I have a Samsung Galaxy S21 - unlimited Calls, texts and 100G date = £65 (should be £75 but I get a discount through work.
This laptop is £16 so
65+16= 81 (now remember the that £10 he could save me) 81-10= 71.
Phone £65 (discount applied) Laptop £16 (-£10 saving) £6
So can anybody tell me how EE have come up with the magic number of £94?
This rep I was talking to must have been Jordan Belford (The Wolf of Wall Street) because he has either lied to me to meet his quota or anything he siad he applied hasn't gone through.
This is why I don't have a direct debit set up with them as something like this isn't the first time it has happened to me with them.
No wonder they're able to afford Kevin Bacon for their adverts if they make people pay these prices!
I've opened a complaint with EE and have to wait until they get back to me. They said Friday/Saturday 🙄 but we'll see what they say.
If this isn't rectified I'll be doing what I can to return this laptop and then wait until my mobile finishes in July.
If anyone has had the same experiences please let me know what your outcome was?
Thanks Matt!

Hi @Matt8404.
I'm sorry to hear this has happened.
Thanks for letting us know you've logged a complaint, hopefully they can get this sorted for you when they get back in touch.
