How to Cancel Broadband

Hi

How to Cancel Broadband? When I work my way through the key pad options top cancel, I get right o the end to a message which states something like 'we regret this service is temporarily unavailable?'

I've looked at multiple options and tried multiple numbers and I just hit brick walls with the inability to speak to someone. I attempted this before Xmas and again today and I am taking unnecessary and unfair costs as a consequence.

Thanks

John

To cancel your EE BB & Home Phone either:

  1. If you no longer want any BB at your location, you phone EE on the Freephone no. (Opt 2) in my sig. and give 14 days notice OR
  2. If you want to migrate your BB to another ISP other than VM & if you're not changing to or from FTTP, you apply to them directly & they'll take care of everything bar your final EE bill.

Try calling CS on the Freephone no. in my sig.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

@JohnCa   there is a specific Help page with more information and a different number. How far through the process do you get before it fails?
