How long to wait before becoming a new customer?

Can anyone confirm how long you have to wait after a previous contract finishes before EE will consider you a new customer? I can't find anything in the terms and conditions that sets this out, or anything on the website. EE Customer services stated its 30 days and it is on the website but i've been unable to find anything that actually sets out in writing EE's position on this.  For context I terminated a previous Sim only contact and was looking to take out a new pay monthly phone deal with a employment related discount but it would appear thats not allowed unless I wait. Can anyone confirm anything definative re this? Thanks

@AlunW  If it’s on the website that’s in writing as it’s informing you of this.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Apologies,    My point was I can't find anything on the website OR in the Terms and Conditions that sets out any timescale. Nor could the person at Customer Serivces tell me where it was set out, only that apparently it is. Hence asking the question.

It is 30 days from when you gave notice on the old contract before you can start again as a new customer.

Also whether EE accept you is dependent on credit and affordability checks, and you could fail these even if you where a customer previously...
