We were away in Cape Verde at the end of August and each call either inward or outward was charged for twice exactly two hours  ( the time differnce) behind one another.

When speaking to EE about this I was told they were aware of the problem and "were sorting it". I did have to pay the bill or I would be cut off and then wait for a refund.

HAs anyone else been treat in this manner?

Not similar but slightly different.

My account was moved to real time billing, during which i was charged for calls which should have been part of my allowance. This added on £245 and a lot of stress. Thankfully I got it sorted, but legally I would have though EE have to provide an accurate and correct bill.

To say you have to pay for their mistake or you will be cut off is a bit much.
