Final bill

Hello, on September 9th my contract ended and I moved to a new provider. I am billed on the 18h each month. I would like to know if owe EE anything for the period August 19th to September 9th when my contract ended as I would like to cancel my direct debit. I have tried the app but my account has been disconnected. Thank you.

Did you move to new provider using a PAC. If so, that should auto cancel your contract.

You should get a final bill by post in which you should get a refund, paid to your DD, for the period September 9th to September 17th for which you paid in advance in your bill of Aug. 18th. You won't get a rebate for the period August 18th to September 8th as you were still in contract & using it then.

Yes, I used a PAC. Bottom line I shouldn't delete my DD yet as I still might owe EE money? Thanks

Yes but more likely EE owe you money as you've been paying in advance.

Thanks! You're welcome 🙂 ! Glad I could be of assistance & hope it soon gets sorted.

Hi. My final bill in the end showed I am about £7 in credit but I haven't got any refund yet. It's been 2 months, when will I get my refund? Thank you.

Based on the timelines you've described, I would expect you to have received your final bill by now. "Upto 45days" is, I believe, the general timescale.

I can see my final bill in the EE app and it shows I am in credit of £7. What's not clear to me is how and when I will get it. They haven't been paid into my bank account yet. Any idea? Thanks

How were you paying monthly for your contract when you had it?

It should have been refunded back to your DD. I hope you never cancelled  it.

If it hasn't, call CS & ask for it to be.
