Ee cancelled their own contract

Agreed to a new contract but then find out the phone I had wanted was out of stock so was in process of asking someone from a different department if there was any available of a similar price but he said he couldn't believe the price I'd been given and had agreed to days earlier was possible then further down the conversation said oh that contracts been cancelled,  well not by me and only 10 minutes earlier I'd been trying to track it the contract was still intact then suddenly it was saying its been cancelled, how cannot ee go back on a signed contract

Also had contract cancelled by ee after it was agreed because someone on phone said we can't afford to give it to you at that price. Terrible service

@Ianturnerjsy : When an order can't be fulfilled it is rejected. You never had a contract, just an order.

Was this an upgrade or a new order?

What handset did you order? If the phone is out of stock your order won't be able to progress which is why it will be cancelled.
