EE One Household?

Hello, I hope someone can help.....

I have an EE account for both my mobile and my broadband. I currently also have 2 other mobile phones on my account for my children.

My wife, who has her own EE mobile account, went in to an EE store to upgrade her device. She had a new phone and new contract and was also given a £10 monthly discount for being in the same house as someone who pays for Mobile & Broadband.

After a few days, she received a text to say that the '£10 discount has been removed from your account as you are no longer eligible'.

We have returned to the EE store who said that they cannot help and that we should contact customer services.

Customer services said that I, as the account holder for both mobile & broadband. need to launch the EE app and then....
In app, go to profile, select 'Your EE One household'. Select 'Invite Someone'. Follow process to share invite.

This 'Your EE One household' button does not exist in the app.

We have returned to the EE store today who also could not find this button and did not understand the instructions...

Can I add someone to my 'household' without transferring them from their EE account to mine?

Regards

Richard

Hi @trikster

I've done a bit of digging on this and from what I can see and what we were told recently, this has not launched as of yet, which is why you won't be seeing the option in the EE app.

At the moment, if you wanted to take advantage of the EE One benefits, you would need to change the ownership of your wife's number to be part of your account.

Staff in the EE store don't know how to do it and said ask Customer Services..... Customer Services said we can't do it, go to the EE store....

Thanks @Michael_D

That sounds similar to what the staff said in the EE store. They all recalled having training on this but didn't know when it would be 'live' and how / where it would appear in the app.

I've managed to find the training that was rolled out @trikster, and that shows that the option would be profile section but I don't have it in my app at present.

Keep an eye on that section and when it is rolled out, you'll see the option there. Unfortunately, there is no current timescale for when this will be.

Michael

Then don't advertise it until it is live.
