Direct Debit date

Hi there, just looking for some advice, I successfully changed my Direct Debit Date to the 15th each month, so it coincides with my payday, and I had the confirmation come through saying it will change to the 15th after the first month's payment, which was August. However, I've just had a message through to say the next payment will be taken on the 7th September, and when I look at the debit date, it is stuck on the 6th, and I am unable to change it. Any advice with what to do next would be much appreciated, as this September payment will be before I get paid, and I'm worried I may not have the funds in my account for when the payment is taken! And also the fact that I had it successfully changed, got the confirmation through, only to look and see it seemingly hasn't been changed?!

Welcome to the community.

I think it's going to be best if you speak with our Mobile Care team on 150. They have access to your account and will be able to see if/when the change is going through. There's also a live chat service in the 'help' section of the EE App.
