I have got in the habit of buying eSIMS when abroad due to the rediculous £6+ fees EE charges per day for data. However, in the middle of my last trip, despite having disabled data usage on my EE line and selecting my eSIM (and also disabling data switching), I was randomly charged EE's fee in the middle of my trip despite having my EE data disabled before I got on the plane and re-enabled only once was back in the UK. There is absolutely no reason why I should have been charged. I had an eSIM covering the entirety of my trip, I never touched the settings and if something wasn't configured properly I'd have been charged for multiple days, not just one random day in the middle of my trip. It's really frustrating when you're trying to save money.

Hello @antonyleather ,
Welcome to the community,
Have you spoken to EE about this? I would definitely take it up with them, as we have no account access and do not know who you are, that would be my first port of call, as they can take a look at your account for you and see what has gone wrong etc.
