Hi
I'm wanting to change an account to be in my name but not the banking details that are in the name of a family member as he is elderly and it makes stuff easier if talking to customer service or in store etc. I'm hoping to go to local EE store tomorrow to do this so as he can't go what evidence do i need to be able to do this please?
Regards & thanks

The current owner of the contract, the elderly family member, wishing to be moved needs to call CS with both of you available on the line to effect a change of ownership. The other person, you, will need to pass a credit check. They will then be responsible for that contract. If you can't do it together CS will give the current owner a password for the other to quote when they call. The banking details need not change.
To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

He could over the phone if they called him from the store.. Maybe i'm wrong & will have to call instead which is a nightmare trying to talk to a human.. Off to land of nod, worn out long day.

But it is you walking into the store to start it. They wouldn't know who was who. It would seem suspicious.

Yes going to do it over phone tomorrow. It's just better in person but he really don't wanna go in.. I guess account stuff is less hassle than the going through the text bot with tech issues, yer prob get put straight through to an agent. EE's agents are in UK or Ireland i hear so for him to talk on phone that's important for him, hearing etc.
