I brought my 15 plus with EE in April of last year and i also got a new sim with the phone - an unlimited data sim. Now almost a year later i find myself paying £35 pounds for the sim which is more than i pay for the device. Ultimately, i've come to the conclusion that i do not need unlimited data and i want to change my sim plan to a cheaper one and also keep my number the same. Is that possible?

@Marzzz Your contract is for that amount until the minimum term, you can not lower it to cheaper tariff until you are within your upgrade period

Hi @Marzzz Just to add to the above post, although you can't lower your plan while you're within your minimum term, I'd still recommend giving one of our guides a call to see if there are any extras that you have that could be removed to save you money.
To speak with a guide, I'd recommend giving us a call on 150 from an EE phone, or 07953 966 150n from any other phone.

@Marti01 you can’t lower the be contract price that you agreed to honour until your within your upgrade period. It’s a contract that you agreed too. Your only option is to pay off that contract and take out a cheaper tariff. If you do this you’ll have to pay off that remaining fee in one payment. You do get a 4% discount on that remaining cost.
