I had an issue with a payment going missing when I went to pay my bill last April and because of this I thought my bank had blocked EE from taking payments from my card but I spoke to them and they told me I need to contact EE and they can unblock my card but the app never works.

I'm sorry to hear that a payment went missing last April, did you manage to get that resolved?
I'd recommend giving one of our billing guides a call, so that they can get access to your account and check the status of your direct debit.
To speak to a guide, dial 150 from an EE phone or 07953 966 150 from any other phone.
