Dear EE Customer Care,

 

I hope this message finds you well.

 

I am writing to request the early termination of my EE mobile contract, as I will be permanently relocating outside the United Kingdom in four months’ time.

 

My account details are as follows:

My contract began in February 2025 and is due to end in February 2027. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, I will be unable to maintain my service from abroad.

 

I kindly ask that you provide me with:

 

  1. A written breakdown of any early termination charges or device repayments I may need to settle.

  2. Confirmation of the contract cancellation process, including my final billing date.

  3. Clarification on whether I need to pay any outstanding device balance and whether the handset must be returned.

 

 

I understand there is a 30-day notice period and am happy to comply. I would appreciate it if this process could begin as soon as possible or on the earliest eligible date you advise.

 

If needed, I can supply documentation as evidence of my relocation abroad.

 

Please confirm receipt of this email and advise me on the next steps.

  1. Text INFO to 85075 to find out your Early Termination Fees. It will basically be months left x monthly charge - 4%.
  2. If you are wanting to cease your mobile contract completely you need to phone EE giving 30 days notice of cancellation of your contract. If you are still within your min term you will be liable to pay early termination fees for the rest of the term. It will basically be months left x monthly charge - 4%.
  3. If the device is on FlexPay you will need to pay it off. The device is yours to keep.
