Did you mean:

Am I being scammed?

My SIM contract ended so I switched to another EE SIM only contract, but I haven't been able connect to EE network since then but I'm being charged. I checked the the EE app and it told me that I'm still paying of my phone despite the fact the that I purchased my phone in full before getting a EE SIM card only contract. It won't allow me to upgrade to my new contract or switch to a different one for the same reason. Do I have to switch to a new provider to have this resolved?

@Kurt159 : How do you work out that you purchased your phone in full? Did you cancel your phone contract or upgrade it to this SIM-Only contract?

EE's traditional contracts have no concept of paying off the handset. You agreed to pay the same price for the full duration of the total bundled contract. You may always choose to upgrade your contract to a cheaper SIM-Only contract from the last 45 days of your contract term.

I reckon you ordered this SIM-Only contract as a new contract w/out cancelling or upgrading your existing phone contract. So you now have 2 contract & are paying for them both.
