What can I do if I’m abroad for an extended period & not using my EE allowance or phone number?

@Lerala  Cancelling the contract will mean you paying off any remaining term of the contract with a 20% discount on the remaining term cost.

@Lerala , if you want to then change it to pay as you go, in order to keep the number, you will have to make sure you use the SIM card here in the UK before going abroad and make sure that it does not go into hibernation and or lose the number for inactivity, you will lose the number if not used for six months, but as the others have written, if still within a minimum contract and you want to cancel, you will have to pay off the remainder and can at the same time request to change to pay as you go.
