I am trying to get an unlocked 4 g router  work with a giffgaff sim. The 2 dont seem to work and i wonder if i need to change the Anp settings but cant really find the best way to do this despite having access to the admin settings. Any help would be appreciated!

If you completely disconnect the router from the mobile network & then re-connect it should auto populate the GG's APN. Even try taking the SIM out & then putting it back.

If its a New GiffGaff Sim it may not Auto configure the APN unless the Sim has been activated on a Mobile Device first, or wait at least 24 hours after activation.

 

APN Settings for GiffGaff Data are -

APN: giffgaff.com

Username: gg or leave blank

Password: p or leave blank

Proxy: leave blank

MCC: 234

MNC: 10

APN protocol: IPv4

APN roaming protocol: IPv4

Authentication type: PAP
