I ordered upgrade from standard broadband to fibre a month ago today and it's still sitting at pending due to a technical issue.......
I've phoned a few times and they just keep telling me to phone back in a few days for an update from openreach.
Is this length of delay normal, and how long can I be kept waiting?

No, it normally takes 14 days from order when there are no hitches.
You could consult BT Service Status to see if any issues are being attended to in your local area.

What does BT Wholesale Broadband Availability Checker estimate for your phone number? Post just the whole table and the line above it, blanking out your phone number. If it doesn't recognise your phone number or you don't have one, use the Address Checker, not the Postcode Checker.

There looks no issues with VDSL SOGEA (no landline no.) on the OR side. All you can do is keep chasing CS & ask for an explanation.
