Hello,
I've been having problems with my BT 4600 phone/answer machine. I've just switched over to EE and Digital voice.
Basically, I've asked them to increase the number of rings on the EE 1571 voicemail to 10, and I've set my BT4600 answer machine to 8 rings. Sometimes it works and takes a message, then other times it cuts in and just hangs up the call.
Does anyone know why this would happen?
Thanks for your time
Reg

Ah, right ok. I don't think I have blocked my mobile within the BT4600 phone, as it still rings through. Also, I was able to leave a voice message on the BT4600 answerphone a few times before it started happening.
When I reset the home hub 9 by turning it off for 2 mins, it allowed me to call through 2-3 times and leave a message on the BT4600 answer phone. Then, after the 3rd call, it started to just ring through, and then as the answering machine came in, it cut me off.

@reghorlock That's unusual. The only thing I can suggest is to disconnect the BT4600 for a week and let calls go to voicemail to see if that works ok. If it does then there may be a fault with the BT4600.

Thanks for your reply. I think I've managed to fix it!
I reset the base, and it now seems to be leaving a message each time. Well, I tested 5 times, and it worked for each one. 🤞
