I moved from BT to EE on the last day of my BT contract on 9th Jan.  both BT and EE have taken direct debits for broadband payments after this date.  why have i been charged twice when this is now the 'same company'

@Jonnyrich

It’s not the same company.

BT will refund your advance payment. Was pretty quick with us.

Hi @Debbiebirket977,

Welcome to the Community!

It is likely your bill was produced before your plan cancelled, which is why this payment was taken, however, now your plan is cancelled then you will be refunded for any days that you've not been connected. If you speak with our team they will be able to give you more information on when this will be with you.
