@carol2025 On the fttc copper connection what has your speed fallen from and to now, if the EE Router is fixed now and the cable is going to stay connected to the OR Master socket, and you are also not going to be switching off/on too much, then as @Northerner was requesting but in was more to say switch it off for 30 seconds, let it power down and decay away...

DLM reset is the quick way to get it back up, and the Engineer may have or may not have done that, but the DLM will try to bring it back up on it's own but will require some time to do that.

thats fine i just wanted to know best way to get it reset as when iv tried to speak to customer service on the phone they dont seem to know what im asking for and cant or wont help me. thank you anyway.

i may try one more time with them on the phone as i need to confirm that they have the faulty box and the replacement never got to me and that i currently do not have any ee property.

Just show us your router stats & I should be able to advice on reset.

@carol2025 Who is it that does the DLM reset as far as you are aware?

Hi there @carol2025

Thanks for coming to the community.

To get the router and speed looked into, I would advise getting back in touch with our broadband tech guides. They are the best people to complete troubleshooting and let you know what is needed to get this resolved.

Please see the Contact Us To Request Technical Support for Broadband and Landline page for ways to get in touch with a guide.

Thanks 🙂

Leanne.
